Bobby is the lead author at CodeWalkers, covering AI coding tools, vibe coding, and developer productivity. He started out saving HTML files and FTPing them to a server, fell for programming through Visual Basic, and has since shipped with React, TypeScript, Python, Swift, and Rails across two decades of building.

After years in management and product roles, he stepped back to a more hands-on role — lower title, lower pay — to get back to building things. That decision shapes how he writes: he pays for the tools himself, tracks what they actually cost and save, and reports back.
